Noida: The second edition of the Bharat Shiksha Expo (BSE) will be held at the India Expo Centre from April 24 to 26, with over 100 institutions—ranging from universities and schools to education consultants and service providers—set to take part. Organised by the ministry of education in association with GNIDA, the three-day event will also feature career counselling sessions by experts from IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras, along with innovation-led competitions supported by NITI Aayog.
Officials said this year's expo will span over 7,000 square metres and include exhibitors from coaching centres, study-abroad services, scholarship and educational finance providers, in addition to academic institutions.
Among the activities planned are creathon, hackathon, robo race, drone shows, ideathons, and subject-specific quizzes. There will also be workshops on robotics and environmental education, organisers said.
A counselling zone offering free guidance for students exploring higher education and career options will also be set up. Additionally, a singing competition for school and college students is part of the lineup.
"Launched in 2024, the BSE marked its debut as a comprehensive education platform, attracting over 1 lakh visitors and more than 50 exhibitors from India and abroad," an official said, adding that the event aims to foster collaboration across the education sector.
To ensure wider participation, the district school inspector has directed schools across the city to actively take part in the expo. "Principals of various schools and colleges have been encouraged to participate. Last year, the event took place mid-session. This year, it has been planned at the beginning of the academic session so students can benefit from timely career counselling," the official added.
